went to joy's grad ceremony..
"congratulations to the class of 2005"
it was long and repetitive.. haha.. and we paid $10 each as guests just to get a seat like there werent even any refreshments or water or coffee or tea... joy had to pay $15.. but they got to wear gowns.. hahaha :D

brings back high school memories... high school was quite fun i reckon.. work was managabe, got to hang with frenz eveyday, play bball during lunchtime, share lunches with frenz, didnt have that much to worry/think about...

some sorta belated birthday dinner from u.cheng hwas family for my mum..
was at warwick restaurant.. had peking duck! hahaaa..

baptism service at the beach.. there were 4 candidates! :) tehehee..
what a happy occassion!

we were supposed to meet at the fire station but the other car was late so we went wandering around for 1/2h.. also ended up visiting a garage sale! hahaaa :p
then headed to bell rapids.. its in swan valley.. along cathedral drive.. started to rain.. we ran back to the car with all our stuff.. so we went to margaret river chocolate factory.. it was quite a nice time.. had chocolate fongue and our normal picnic stuff.. they were nice enough to let us use the table even though we all didnt buy meals from them...



then we went back to bell rapids
it did start to drizzle but then it wasnt too bad.. it stopped.. we took quite nice photos there! :)

mum n bro's bday today!

dunno what happened in singapore for my bro but then here in perth, it was nothing fancy.. we went out for dinner so my mum didnt have to cook and then prayer meet.. i think the official 'birthday dinner' is postponed till later.. we then had a surprise bday cake for her after the prayer meet.. sang happy birthday to u. adrian too since it's his bday tom as well :p

dunno why.. shopping just doenst seem to appeal to me as much anymore :(

my sis bought this pair of shoes that i took a photo of and was contemplating buying before but at that time she said it was ugly...
then she went to kingsway and described to me this pair of shoes that she thought was sooo nice..
it sounded familiar like the shoes i wanted to buy before so i brought her to see it at table eight which was where i originally saw that pair of shoes..
in the end that pair of shoes she described to me was the pair of shoes that i originally wanted to buy! its kinda freaky and coincidental that we both kinda noticed that pair of shoes in that sense..
anyway, in the end she bought that pair of shoes she previously commented was ugly before..
ah well.. at least she got cheaper at table eight.. and i'll get to wear it.. muhhahaha :D

went to julie's concert @perth modern SHS..
i reckon the songs after the interval were more 'contemporary' in that sense...

hmm.. then we went to northbridge.. into tea cafe and then out.. into utopia for takeaway bbt (meanwhile tookaway easyway for my sis) and then into billy lee's or uncle billy lee's... these 2 restaurant names confuse me.. why do they have to be named so similarly.. also realised chinchin closed!! oorhh.. my chicken rice!

ah well.. it was all in all quite a fun nite.. good to catch up and spend time with frenz again :)

went to observation city hotel for dinner for uncle cheng hwa's 50th birthday celebration.. it was just our family and his..

after that went to jess's place for her bday celebration.. it was a surprise one.. wasnt there for the surprise but played along with it with her and stuff.. hahahaa :D

bowling! i have been saying ive been wanting to go for so long.. so finally!
didn't manage to break the 100 points threshold though...



i used to wish i had a bowling alley in my basement.. lol :p

MCW SPRINGFEST'S ON!

sherlene n i decided to sell laksa and these buns... so went to her place at aroun 12 to prepare and stuff and because it was part of regulations to prepare ur stuff in an industrial kitchen, we went to the uni ref to cook the laksa sauce.. i dirtied my white top! ugh!!

anywayz, at 6pm it all started... we had to wear hats, aprons and plastic gloves to handle food.. business was not too bad in the beginning but then we had direct competition.. prima taste express: which was about 3 stalls away! how unfair hey!

ah wellz.. after all that hard work, we only made about $60! it would have been more worthwhile to work at our normal workplace and then just go for the event.. ah well.. on the bright side it was pretty fun, i guess?! :p
