went for this cooking class thing where the guy cooks in front of you and then you also get the recipes and also eat the food.. david's sister organised it coz she got these vouchers from her work or something like that...

So the story goes that my laptop was restored again after I went to Sherlene's house and we played around with it..
Then it died again today..
So Bao was at uni and I used the same trick and my laptop resurrected again....
But there really is a problem with my laptop isnt there?

I was in the newspaper; the photo makes me look so round and chubby though!
Also met up with some of my high school friends.. it was good "catching up" with each other and with other people (no, of course not gossiping!) ^^

laptop died...
wat do i do now? grr...
acutally it worked well again, but it seems pretty unreliable.. like sometimes it can shut down but sometimes it can't.. what is happening?
then i got an PARKING infringement from unipark.. seriously, i think they have blacklisted my car or something.. why didn't they just put the infringement on my windscreen right? but no, they send me an infringment a month later... anyway, good thing ive got the parkign permit from that day... so shoudl be quite easy to get that sorted out (i think and i hope!)

going back home....
stopped over melbourne on the way back to perth.. took some cool pics on the plane from syd to melb from the plane...
arrived at the airport and started snapping away with my camera already!
stopped to get some krispy cremes too.. only one store in melb and can you believe the queue! i thought it was so unaustralian! :p
also went to this nice dessert place called brunetti's..

national honours colloquium at UNSW
was really good because i got back alot of constructive feedback from quite a number of people... everyone else there is so smart... i was like in awe! it was good mingling with the other honours students.. like what that sub-dean of research said "there is a a depth of wealth in business research just looking at the different research topics"... had the dinner at the sydney convention centre that night at darling harbour.. it was so beautiful!

went shopping at bondi shopping centre because check-in time for the hotel was 2pm..
the malls are huge in sydney... its like a 5 story galleria shopping centre (perth context) or 5 story metros (canadian context) or 5 story causeway point with north, south, east and west(singapore context)...

mostly shopping today and we ate this really YUMMY strawberry crepes thing.. it was realy mouth-watering! the shop's name is called toss 'n' turn.. so yummy!!!
went to Minus 5*.. it's this ice lounge (everything made out of ice including seats, tables, cup, sculptures).. quite an interesting concept.. cost $30 (we got 20% off) for 30min in there cos apparently if you stay for longer than that, your body can't really take it... they provided jackets and stuff which was good..
got abit lost in central station.. there are like 20 over platforms with 4 floors or something.. so confusing!

Japanese meal at Harbouside SC..
was also going to go to Luna Park but it was closed..... :( it said it was open Mon-Fri on the brochure though... we pretty much was on the ferry, jumped off, ran to check the sign on the front entrance and went back to board the same ferry again... the guy who was in charge of docking and stuff was kinda confused i think! :p later in the arvo, it also started hailing... praise God we didnt get caught in it because we didnt have umbrellas!

went to the sydney opera house and also the pylon lookout...
then shopping in the city.. it's huge hey!
before dinner at 360 degrees, the revolving restaurant (david has a thing for revolving restaurants), went on this oztrek thing on sydney tower itself, kinda intersting.. it's like some virtual tour.. kinda cool..
After that we went to Hyde Park.. david was hoping for more lights.. but nonetheless, it was nice... he said some of the nicest things... :)
