was at dimmer's 21st..
i so wanted to win "best hat by 10pm gets a bottle of alcohol".. ok. so maybe it wasn't so much for the alcohol but the point of winning.. so i went to borrow sherlene's china hat (well, headpiece)... some people had pretty interesting hats.. but in the end, the sheriff's hat won... oh well.. ahhaha :D it was interesting meeting the other half of the high school ppl that i haven't seen for ages... so yes, i kinda forgot some of their names too.. *oops*.. and so when they're like 'hi grace, how are you?'.. i'm like 'errr.. sorri i forgot your name, but i remember your face!' eeks...

been writing writing and writing my thesis... i think i've been going crazy; doing some rather strange things.. like taking showers 3 times in a nite.. or sitting on my dining table about to sobz...
but i'm like so grateful to my supervisor.. he's the best! :)

MCW SPRING FEST has come yet again...
and this time we sold meesiam.. kinda glad we didnt resort to shouting out "meesiam 2 dollars" although it was really tempting and i did end up doing it a couple of times..
we did resort to giving out free food to get rid of our stuff so that we didnt have to carry the gravy, etc.. julie managed to sell ONE teabox for doing nothing although it was kinda funny how she brought boxes and boxes of them..
i guess we (or should i say i?) had a couple cooking accidents where the meesiam didnt taste quite right because of either the asam or it was overboiled or maybe both... nevertheless, the sugar did help to stablise the taste.. also dropped a whole pot on the floor while trying to scope the beehoon coz it was heavy! the guild chef came to my rescue...
joy's SSS had a creaming store and it was entertaining to see the various members being creamed time and time again... it's a vicious cycle isnt it... if u cream someone you should expect them to wanna cream you back and revenge goes back and forth... so.. never start sabo-ing others if you're not preparee to be saboed yourself.. good move by grace.
nevertheless, it was a good night and i needa concentrate on thesis-writing... seriously.
