first day at PLC.. to have a look around n stuff.. surprisingly, it didnt take THAT long to get there.. traffic was good tho n i think i got mostly green lights.. hehe :p anywayz, all the teachers n staff there seem really nice... very friendly n helpful... really looking forward to next week! i will be in the yr 2 class with kelly i think.. so that would be good... :)
but i think its going to be so hard taking fieldnotes... esp when we just saw wat that teacher did in 5 minutes..
but when she told us an incident where the parents were happy that the pre-primary class were kinda mixed and the parents were too happy abptu it n stuff.. a 'controversy'.. she made a comment that 'you just can't please everyone'... it properly is an underlying issue in teacher's work... no matter what you do, you can't please everyone.. n also, i guess that's also how it is in life... but the hours of teacher's work is long.. she said she started work at 7.15am each day and teachers don't go home till anywhere between 4-7pm... n because you have to do yard duty/playground duty/recess duty and stuff like that, i guess teachers don't get the normal 1h lunch break that office people do...... man... i still wonder whether i wanna be a teacher... but the kids are cute cute cute! dunno if they will still be after teaching them day in and day out! hahaha :D
was just at uni to get my guild sticker.. now at the library... i think i will go to the red teapot for lunch and also needa talk to sherlene about our jazz dancing lessons! hehee :p tutoring at 5pm later today.....
