church as usual...
went to dao vien for lunch... was kinda funny.. we sat in 2 tables.. guyz and girls.. hahaa.. the men's fellowship and women's fellowship.. lolx :D
was going to play badminton in the afternoon but then went over to tim and martin's place and didnt manage to get back in time to change and go and play badminton..
but oh well.. went to look at a home open just around the area coz we saw the sign.. house wasnt too bad.. think might be quite suitable for tim and danielle.. so yeh..
going to matsuri for dinner today.. *yummy* i love eating good food! hahaha :p

today was the state's local election and the referendum regarding the shopping hours.. i wanted to so vote yes, no and also vote against colin barnett and the water canal but guess wat! my name wasnt on the electoral roll... :(
anyway, so the lady asked me if i enrolled and i did.. and she asked if i voted in the federal election and so i told her i didnt coz i was in canada.. and she asked how long ive been back and so i said a month.. then she said that to vote in this election i had to be living in australia for the last 3 months.. so i didnt get to vote in the end... it would have been my first vote and now i dun get to vote till 4 years later... *sigh* but oh welll.... she did end up giving me a certificate of participation for going to the election... just in case the government authority come after me for not voting... so yeh... here it is! ;)
at nite was music prac, then helped natasha move house and then had a late dinner at 10pm.. i was starving by then! :p

during the past week i have been spending every single day at padbury senior high school... it was pretty good.. the staff there were really nice and supportive and helpful during this whole prac thing.. i even taught a year 11 history lesson... it didnt go that bad even though it wasnt my subject area and i had to research and educate myself about what happened in germany after world war 1... so yeh... i thought the lesson didnt go that bad.. i was nervous and all in the beginining but it got better.. and i mean, the students were very responsive and respectful... :) so that was nice of them...
on the friday was the school's swimming carnival.. didnt do that much.. on the other days was mainly observation and didnt do that much loh..

its really quite strange..
whenever i walk past people each day.. there always seems to be someone to remind me of someone who lives in canada... like at first glance i would think its them but then logically i know that they are in canada and so how can they be here too rite!! hahaa.. this phenomena has been happening for awhile.. maybe its because i miss the people back in canada? hmm..
went shopping for my sis's ball gown today.. didnt manage to get anything but she did try on some very nice dresses... :)

busy day today...
went to school (uni), we finished early today because our micro teaching sessions finished early and so she also let us off early... education classes are getting very repetitive though.. they always go on about the same things sometimes.. oh well..
after that i rushed to ECU to help out in the distribution of flyers.. it was quite coincidental that after i parked my car and walked i saw the whole group... there werent many people there though.. but at least a seed was sown! :)
went to kulcha for lunch after that and then i went home to sleep! was so tired from yesterday!
at nite, we had a church youth bbq at my house... :)
after a majority of people left at around 9.30, i also went to my fren Sally's house since she was having a party for her bday which was just gone on 13feb... good to see my high school frenz again after so long!
had to be back by midnight and so i did........ yes, cinderella is my name..

its like exercise today!
played 1.5h of tennis at uni...
was kinda fun playing doubles but also especially playing with bao.. almost beat her! haha.. we kept deucing.. but she's so good at sports and all.. i think the only thing i ever did beat her in was tabletennis! hahaa :D since that time i had a table tennis table at home... which was quite awhile ago back in good old high school days... also played with these 2 guyz that were playing there.. just hitting around and having fun i guess..
we went to whitfords after and had a portrait drawing photo thing taken.. haha. that was interesting.. had my eyes checked and all too..
and then bao and julie were meant to play badminton at nite but julie's eyes were really hurting and so she went home and bao ended up going in the end.. haha... the 2h of baddy was fun.. was acutally quite competitive and won all the games i played except one i think :( oh well...

school again... its so long and tiring.. took away lunch from home.. had it at a park.. it was nice... after that went home.. slept coz i was so tired.. had dinner.... then i got a message from julie about meeting up with bao...
bao's bday today.. went out at nite to the globe at hilton for 'dinner'.. except i already had my dinner at home and got the message too late...wanted to take a pic at the place but then in the end we forgot! marshall called later to go to hillarys but i didnt end up going with them.. heard they had a good time though...

valentines day!!
happy vday everyone!! :)
started school today too.. good to see everyone again tho...
went to the red teapot for lunch.. vic was working there! :)
went home for dinner with family.. david had a little surprise for me.. in the end we went late but we went to the perth observatory... got to see saturn and the ring and the moons around it... same with jupitar.. and the southern cross and the 'spider' and '2 jewels' and these 2 stars that look like 'diamonds'.. it was quite cool... in the end i got a rose and chocolates from those people there... haha.. none of us were expecting it.. i guess it was quite a memorable nite... :) so pretty, the sky and the stars! indeed, how magnificant our God is huh!! :)

had a couple of newcomers in church today.. we all went out for lunch together..
after that went to play basketball.. happen to meet my NLCC fren senq j... haha.. and also kinda recognised these UWA ppl from MSU.. haha. i think i boughtmy ball ticket from one guy in particular in 2003.. i think the guy finds it strange that i remember him..
after that went for a bbq at south perth with some of david's family.... after the bbq we went to kings park for awhile.. then it started raining and we took shelter and stuff... it was pretty nice there.. had quite a good talk...

wanted to have lunch at student's cafe with tim and martin but then it was closed.. so we went to the chicken rice store at bentley... after that we headed to cottesloe beach... dawn was there with her friends and so we kinda sat where they were but there wasnt really that much interaction..
after that went home for chicken rice dinner but before that i picked joy and shermaine up from the train station... had quite a good quiet time.. slept kinda early coz i was tired but then later in the night i couldnt sleep! so i did abit of my scrapbook, watched holland v, talking on the phone and on msn.. talk about multitasking!! :p

second day...
@ joy and sam fishing all afternoon on the second day
@ went to the shopping centre and city area...
@ walked on the bridge where they cut an opening to the indian ocean.. so reminded me of the high school project i had to write on this area for environmental economics
@ played more fooseball
@ aunty julie and family came over with andy at dinner time; andy got out his telescope and we looked at saturn and these clusters of stars..
@ reached home at around 12.30am... Zzzz.. actually i was still awake...

after picking joy and sam from school and aunty sandie from her place we drove down to mandurah for a nice little retreat and time of crabbing!
first day...
@ caught musells and crabs on the first day! first time martin ate the crabs from mandurah! :p
@ played abit of impromtu bible charades..
@ played lotsa fooseball!! hehe.. the table rocks man and the girls always won!! :) except when we played to see who washes the dishes.. i dunno why we always lose then.. so we had to do dishes every single time! :(

had a really good church service today.. most people were back from their vacation and there were quite a number of new people in our church..
we went to marangoo for lunch.. joy drove there.. it was kinda scary actually.. lolx :D like once she almost hit the car in front of her because she was bz checking her mirrors and wasnt concentrating on the road and then once she had to turn right but when we told her to slow down and change gears she forgot that and ended up having to cut across 2 lanes over the traffic light lines..
after that i drove to the wanneroo markets... joy and i went to have a quick look at this red beatle that was for sale while our parents were buying the fruits and veges and stuff... it was kinda scary one bit coz i was talking on the phone, let off the handbrake and the car started rolling backwards but the thing was that the brake didnt quite work when i stepped on it.. it was kinda strange.. i dunno if it's because the engine was half on but when we got back home and tried the same experiment it worked.. hmmmm....
anywayz.. at nite we went to u.philip and a.jolene's place for dinner.. kinda like a early CNY one.. a few familes went and we had steamboat again! hehee... ate quite abit.. lolx :D hung around and then came back home..

FRIDAY..
went out for lunch with my sis and mum...
after that went to buy some grocery stuff for my mum and also take my passport photo...
came home and on the net and was wrappign my books.. now i have nice mashi maro and snoopy covered exercise books! hehehe :p
had dinner...
and then at nite went to church for music practice... had a prety good one and then we went to hillarys beach after.. was kinda windy at nite altho the day was hot -- 38 degrees!

i went swimming today.. this is like my attempt to get back into an exercise routine.. :p it wasnt too bad.. i swam like 10 laps so tht was like 1km! :) haha..
but then when i got home i felt a little sick.. like sneezing and runny nose and all.. not good at all! and so i guess i kinda had lunch and rested.. tim and martin were over for lunch but then later they left when they had to go and clean aunty ruby's house.. didnt end up going to oli's bday bbq at the beach but i hope he had a great one anywayz...
had dinner at home and then i met up with jap, zac, jess and chi yan for dinner.. after that we went to gelato for ice cream where we also met up with vic and andy... after that we went to sharolyn's place where we met up with jethro and together we went to give sharolyn a surprise.. we got her a bicycle for her bday.. so yeh... indeed she was surprised..
at nite, drove home and zZzzz....

went to the perth zoo with dawn and hui min.. i hope they enjoyed themselves.. :p
well, it looks like the perth zoo was on a low budget because it wasnt all that pretty; looked more like a wildlife park and they kept having signs asking ppl to adopt their animals! :) hahaha.. and also, there were quite limited animals.. so it slike spot the animal! lolx :D inside the nocturnal animals place, some white ghost bats suddenly flew that they jumped which got me to jump.. ;) overall it was not too bad i must say..
was caught in the peak hour traffic back to my place.. came home, had dinner and then at nite went to the church prayer meeting... it was pretty good... we hung around after that in church until we did not get back home till 11-ish...

in the arvo, went to the sparrows with my parents and david for lunch... my parents met some NLCC aunties that i didnt recognise.. lolx :D oh well....
went to HSBC to try and sort out my pins and passwords which i have already forgotten after this time! so that account is kinda frozen at the moment and had to borrow money from my parents in the meantime...
went to pick joy up from school.. and sam as well.. haha.. their first day back in school and grade 12 and they said the first day was boring with teachers trying to scare them! lolx :D
rested at home, then had dinner... then my mum and i walked to the deli to buy bread as our "exercise"... :p
at nite, went over to jess's place to visit her... she is well and her this summer scholarship job thing is really interesitng.. coz its like IVF and how they have to grade the sperm and freeze the embroyo and stuff and how she gets to look at the operationg sometimes...
i got to watch a cinderella story at nite too... i really enjoyed it hey..
