after work i joined alvin for coffee at cottlesloe.. the place is nice.. overlooking the beach.. too bad i didnt take much photos of the beach though..

later martin joined us for dinner.. we took away some food and sat to watch the sunset.. didnt really manage to see it though because it had to leave before it set... it was also hard to eat though because the sea gulls were fighting for your food as well! they managed to steal 2 of my chips.. its like you take a bite rite, then there is that little bit left and then they eat it off ur finger.. had to practically fend my myself and my food...



later went prayer meet and after that, david/zina/me watched the perfect man... our dvd player didnt work!!! ughh... but we ended up watching it on the laptop.. it was a typical chick-flick..

alvin's bday....

we went for dinner at warwick chiense restaurant as a post-exam thingo but also alvin's bday i guess... anywayz.. it was a whole drama about who was meant to buy the cake.. long story and such an adventure.. nevertheless, we managed to suprise him at his house.. however, in-between there was the story involving security guards, bushes, mosquitoes, video-ezy, etc... ha.. it was fun tho...

grandma, grandaunt and grandaunt's granddaughter (i think it's my 2nd cousin) came over to perth.. they'll be here for about 3 weeks i think..

at nite, my sis and i went for dinner before going to watch the merchants of bollywood.. as usual, joy didn't quite get it.. it was about the bollywood industry and how it developed.. combined with music and dance live.. i really enjoyed it! :) at one stage there were those people walking around and then one of them went at the back of my and just stared at me in the dark.. it was realli scary.. like seeing a ghost/scarred face coz he had one of those singh turbans on...

oh.. n we also saw suzzane carr (you know, the news reader from channel 7).. my sis was quite estatic.. hahaa.. but i've seen her before at the other restaurant i used to work with... lol

ooo.. the other interesting thing we saw was a crying room.. hmm.. we wonder what they use it for.. for when people cry after the show? *grinz*

yesterday was dinner with frenz.. today was dinner with my family..
went to the red herring.. the food there was nice although it was more on a pricy side.. like $35 per main dish.. haha.. then we ordered bread after (kinda strange coz u're meant to have the bread before rite? but anywayz) it was all a surprise for my family coz i wouldn't tell them the location and kept driving for the 45min journey although i did miss a turn and had to end up getting somone to help me look up the map *blush*

i think everyone liked the place.. my mum liked the food.. my dad liked the scenery (he saw a stingray in the water) and my sis.. well, she just LOVES ME! muhahaha :D

my bday dinner with uni, high school n GA frenz.. had a great time with everyone.. so i'd just show pictures of everyone..

but especially wanna thank david for driving all the way to gelato to get my bday cake! :) *hugz*

out to freo... the markets and all, had ice cream.. later went to east perth for coffee n wedges.. quite fun.. legs were sore tho.. hahaha..

worked half a day and later joined my sis and cousin at karrinyup for shopping.. then we went to supre.. then dinner at taka and then harbourtown again (since the last time we didnt manage to 'cover' it all)



hmm.. i dun think i have ever shopped so much in perth before (from what i recalled anyway).. it felt like shopping in singapore and coming back late at nite when ur whole body is so sore.. hahaa.. its like combine it with the other day i went shopping i bought HEAPS of stuff! items: *dark jeans*light grey jeans*pink blazer*black sequence spaghetti top*black tubetop for layering*board shorts*3/4 pants*black collared crumbly top*

going back to the shop to get this other top :)

went to work at refresh and then later tutoring..
joined david with his tabor frenz for someone's bday gathering at a cafe before we went to sherlene's house for the party... it was quite alrite.. going to be sad to see so many ppl go tho.. but yeh.. was just chatting and stuff but at one stage we got into a rubberband fight.. hahaha

brought my cousin out today..
first to whitfords and then lunch at grapeskin...

later brought her to my beloved uni - UWA.. hehee

joy joined us later and we were shopping at harbourtown..

yay! so i finally finished my exam! :) hahaha..
went out for dinner with my family and my cousin..


then the girls went to watch a movie at nite.. flightplan.. i thot it was a really good show with a really good plot! hehehe :D

so i went all the way to uni thinking i had an exam..

my timetable on studentconnect said 14nov @ winthrop hall @ 2pm
but apparently after calling sherlene, its 15nov @ phys rec @ 2pm
great....

still going out with david 2nite tho... for a 'bday dinner' ;)

just when i thought i was going to have a monotonous day studying on my bday, a group of my church frenz came over and surprised me with a bday cake at like 12.30am in the morning! i was indeed shocked but i do appreciate the effort even tho i kept saying "wat on earth! wat you are all doing here?" so yes..



and then i had julie coming over at 7am in the morning coz she wanted to take me out for dinner.. mind u: she had an exam at 2pm which she wasnt quite prepared for at that time.. anywayz, no place was open in joondalup.. decided to head down to the beach/coast.. the cafe was not goingto be open till 8am so we went for a walk.. just when it was 8am we decided we didnt want to go there so we went to get breaky at maccas and went to the park near julie's land (haha.. it was a big piece of land and if she was to build then we could be neighbours!) :p

ok... so we got home.. julie was meant to study but at 9.45am i had a delivery.. a teddy bear with chocolates and 12 long-stem red roses! from david obviously :) haha.. we were quite excited and that distracted julie from more study..




anywayz, later david came over and i was heaps tired so i tried napping but decided not to coz i acutaly had loads of work to do so i went to take a nice long shower.. hehe.. started studying but was more intrigued by julie's past year law paper.. wat an interesting read..

later julie went off for ur exam and i joined my family for lunch..

came back to nap till 4pm.. got up and studied.. had dinner and then back to the books..

sooo... this was my very eventful 20th bday ... i'm a young adult now.. so i should act like one! lolx :D no more cutsy stuff and no more ppl calling me cute k.. i'm a young adult! ^^

went to the conference dinner.. sorta the finale for the conference.. it was nice...
i got awarded my grant at the conference too along with the other girl.. she's actually finished her masters and intending to do a phd next year... so looks like i really am the most under-educated one.. lolx :D but the guy who gave the grant is the chairman of a mining company.. he's quite a nice guy.. friendly and sociable and all..

after that went to city garden to celebrate tim's bday..

i needa try to find sometime to get some study done..

2-4 nov: phD conference for economics and business..
8 nov: maths for economists exam
10 nov: auditing exam
11 nov: macroeconomic theory exam
14 nov: financial statement analysis exam
15 nov: yippy yay! :)

somewhere between those times i will be turning 20.. eeks.. no longer a *teenager*.. :(
