went out dimsim with my duncraig frenz and sherlene.. hehee.. it was pretty fun..

this is kinda an insult to females but it is kinda funny..

went for my first speaking engagement at uni for this uni role model thing...
i think i was talking too fast coz i was getting rather nervous.. eeks..
hopefully i will do better next time..
but the kids that i spoke with were from swan view shs and in year 9.. hahaha..
kids at that ageee...........

went to Caversham Wildlife Park today with people from my churhc youth.. it was rather interesting.. got to feed the kangaroos and stuff and also feed the lamas and stuff.. the lama was super hyper-active though.. kept walking up and down and the feeding of that animal was kinda scary.. like rather ticklish on ur hand.. hahaha :D arh well... we also saw the usual koalas and other animals like the owls and dingo and emu and farm animals.. also got to carry a wombat! 35kg! hahahaha :D

after that we went to Red Rooster for lunch before heading to the Margaret River chocolate factory in Swan Valley and a winery there too where we played Uno! hahahaa... that was pretty fun!

headed back home.. dinner.. watched a little bit of tv... had a toothache and was tired and so i slept early..

it is easter sunday!
the power of the Cross does not lie in the death of Jesus but in His resurrection power! the hallmark of Christianity is that we serve a LIVING God! :)

church service followed by lunch at kulcha.. was kinda sad.. it was u.benny and a.carol's family last sunday with us before they head back to singapore for a month and then to france which is where their next posting is.. so yeh...
got home, was kinda tired.. was napping in the afternoon..

at nite, went to watch Miss Congeniality 2.. i loved that movie.. i thought it was really good and funny! hahaha.. pretty much the same standard as the first one.. before that had dinner in the city and bbt with my family..

ISAIAH 53

1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

dun usually have classes today but i had to go for a makeup tutorial since classes have been cancelled on friday....
i also had an interview with the transition service program officer regarding my application to become a uni role model... hahaha.. that went pretty well and so now i guess im officially a uni role model... hahaha... so basically, i get to go on school visits to schools similar to my school background.. have a little talk about myself, wat i do, how uni is different to high school and encourage them to think about coming to uwa.. and for that little talk i get a $20 book voucher from the co-op bookstore.. not too bad huh?! ;)

played badminton at nite.. i brought jocelyn and ina this time.. hahaa.. we were all kinda slack and pretty lazy to play properly.. hehee..

didnt sleep very well last nite.. firstly coz i had a late nite and then in the middle of the nite, the smoke alarm in my room kept going off every like 15mins coz the battery was out or something.. so later i decided to shut my door and go into the guest room and sleep there for the rest of the nite.. when i got up in the morning, to my surprise i found joy's ball gown on me! eeks.. i thought she must chuck it on me in the dark when she came home but apparently she acutally came into the room and on-ed the light and didnt know i was sleeping there and so chucked the dress on top of the blanket.. hahahaa :D

anywayz, church was pretty good.. so glad that ina and carol accepted Christ! :) acutally im quite encouraged coz i do remember them in my qt.. so yeh... lunch at marangaroo.. DUCK!! *yum*.. came home and later took a nap before david came over..

there was fireworks.. so my whole family (except my dad) went out to take a look.. we thought it was from ECU but it was acutually from the joondalup festival.. david and i went to check it out but by the time we got there it was already closing and everyone was packing up.. oh well.. was quite tired and so i had an early nite..

was my sis's year 12 ball.. was also kinda bz that day getting lunch for her and then taking her to the hairdressers and stuff.. but yeh.. the ball was held at the grand ballroom of sheraton hotel... in the arvo, jap, shermaine, sherlene, jess and then later sam came over... all the hype of the ball! cannot imagine how much more hype there would be if it was a wedding.. it felt like my sis was getting married though.. but she looked really good!

anywayz, yeh.. sent sam and her to her fren'z place before she got picked up by the limo.. later in the nite, my parents came back so i went to pick them up and then went to sheraton to pick sam and her up and then came home.. by that time it was already 12.30ish... at aroun 1ish i had to send her and sam and one of her other frenz to the afters party.. which apparently later got broken up by the cops.. i could so see it happening when i sent her there.. hahaha :D but yeh.. jess drove them back later in the nite at like 3am in the morning..

so it was the pre-night of my sis's ball.. sam came over and tried on her dress.. so did joy... all their talk made me wanna dress up (mind you.. i was still in my pjs before!) :p so i decided to wear the ball skirt that i bought just before i went to canada but neva wore and a halter top and take part in all their ball talk and excitement.. lol.. i mean, there was no one else at home too.. so couldnt really make a fool or myself that much rite?! hahaa.. so yeh.. i also wore the tiara that i love from year 12.. hehee :D makes me feel like a real princess.. hahaha :p it's kinda sad huh?!

sandy's and dorcas's grad ceremony!! :) congrats to them!! :)
so i went down to UWA after the church prayer meeting (actaully we left early but yeh..)

will not be posting for about 10 days.. my dad is going to borrowmy laptop during his trip in singapore with my mum..
would be hard to upload pics and stuff..

felt so pointless today..
took me just over 1h to get to uni.. just for 45min of class and then 35min back home..
i came back and slept acutually.. till 2pm.. i was so tired for some reason.. i think it was the badminton last night.. picked my sis and her friend up.. droppe her fren home.. brought my sister to a ball shop and also to a pet store.. going into the city today to look for her ball gown.. that would take another 30min of driving to the city.. *sigh* why do i have to live so far away from the city?

i love my university..
the feeling of being in lectures with people you know, hanging out in the ref in a group, meeting people along the way to lectures and having a quick chat just really warms my heart!
thinking of dropping this unit that i attended lecture but left halfway for.. it was pretty boring.. that means i will be doing 3 units this semester.. hmmm.. i think im getting lazier and lazier...
i feel like doing volunteer work or some admin job if i can find one though..
