so macro classes are getting really tedious but i guess what made it not so bad was that it was snowing! i could see it from the window... but it just made me wanna get out of there even more i guess.. but today was SFU's first sNoW DaY? n wat does that spell? fUn tImeS!! :)

hahaha.. anywayz, after class i acutally went to lougheed with rom and mel.. we had dinner there... mel had to refund his stuff and get his game, rom had to get his stuff and sort out his package for his 'sister' and i was going to exchange some stuff but some hol season exchange policy that i can only do it after dec 28! wat a bummer.... just means i have to constantly think about it and remember to excahnge after christmas! but yeh..


when i got back i found out that there were people going over to will's for a snowball fight at 9.30! so i decided to join them too.. but change of plan, we went to instead and took trays from the dining hall to burnaby mountain park to slide down hills... we went down individually then as a train.. then like double trains,etc.. it was so much fun! :) just look at the pics! ;)





anywayz, i called home today as well.. and for awhile mum thot i was joy... like do i really sound like her? lolx :D no wonder ppl still cant tell if its joy/me if my parents cant even tell!

went to church today... had a potluck before the combined service.. it was pretty cool.. i love combined event things.. its like u see the diversity of everyone and it's just so amazing how we are all one big family.. :)


so yeh.. nothing much.. on the way back i stopped by lougheed for awhile.. it was more an impromtu decision... just had to get something from this one store.. so yeh...
had dinner and then now im going up to 7 to watch tv/study..

soo.... went to Capilanos Suspension Bridge... it wasnt all that scary.. i relaly like it all swinging acutally! there was also some sorta treetop walk there.. it was nice i guess, but rather similar to the one in Australia.. I would have loved to climb a tree again tho! :p




After that we went to Grouse Mountain.. that is seriously such a pretty place hey.. all that snow! and christmas trees, and people singing carols, and kids skating outside, got to see grizzley bear and reindeer, just walking up that slope! SO SO nice... i've decided that during my honeymoon i wanna go to a place where there is snow... its SO nice.. seriously.. and now i know why the fairytale is snowwhite.. coz snow is SO white! snow is nice.. It's like i think i forgot how it felt like to be in so much snow (the last time was in switzerland.. i remember having such a good time).. just look at the pictures... it will make u wanna come over here huh?! :) i wanna learn how to ski! im gonna do some of that and snowboarding over the christmas holidays! yay!! :)





Back to SFU at like almost 7pm... and we left at 9.30am this morning! Im SO exhausted atm.. i think i will have an early night ;)

so we went to Granville Island today! we had to change buses and take another bus on Granville St except we're not very familiar with the place.. so in the end we asked someone and surprisingly, the person we asked happen to be from Seattle.. nevertheless, they knew th eplace better than us! hahaa.... and we got to Granville Island following some high school excursion of kids watching some Shakespeare... anywayz...

i think the place is a little over-rated.. like its not that good... some craft stores and a public market which sold food... then there was this busking guy who was sing the french songs.. "chande liaze"... the one that james used to sing and play when he went thru that stage of listenting to french songs.. the tune is kinda still stuck in my head! hmm.. i think the the best o f the island was the kids market though although you end up buying pointless things like lotsa stickers! :p still...... kids get the best stuff rite?! :p




after that we took the skytrain back... the plan was going to lougheed town centre mall but then when passing brentwood town centre mall it looked pretty interesting so we just got off there... ate there and shopped there until my legs were kinda sore and then we went back to SFU...

watched abit of Felicity.. i feel kinda tired.. maybe i should have an early night.. ;)

hmm... 1h class again today...
lunch was quite good...
went to lougheed shopping agian except i didnt buy anything..
i guess i wasnt really in the mood.. i will go back and buy stuff tho... coz i already saw a birthday present i could get someone..

u know, its surprising that the most suicides happen during christmas/festive period...
dinner was bad - there was nothing good at all..
watch elf, the movie... kinda funny
now in room.. needa catch up on readings...

so i was meant to get up at 7.30 for my 8.30 class.. but i got up with a little bit of a headache so i decided to skip that class and just go to the 9.30 one.... it was quite a quick decison acutally.. coz i still couldnt get myself to get up at 8 and i was like thinking "just 4get about it.."

hmm..
so after class i was really hugnry for some reason so i had an early lunch at 11.30... got back to my room, took a shower, was online for abit then was doing my finance assignemnt... i spent like over 1h on this one question whcih i still havent got an answer for! :/

but anywayz, i will just leave that as it is and get back to it another time... going out later with Grace and Melissa for dinner and then maybe a movie i think.. haha :p I feel like sleeping now acutaly... ZzzzZ... hahahaa

ok.. so we went to watch Alfie... its meant to be a romantic comedy but its not.. its like about this guy just leading his life, etc.. the movie is ok i guess.. and its one of those movies that questions "wat is the point of life?"... so i guess its rather realistic in that aspect... really makes people think.. esp guyz i think since the movie was about this guy and his life focusing on his love life and relationships in his life..


anywayz, after that we were starving and we basically spent quite awhile finding a plce to eat... coz alot of places were closed.. in the end, we ended up eating at e.s.t.e.a ... food there is not too good.. had bubbletea again.. ;) had a really good chat too acutally... so glad to have met those people and talk about certain issues again... :)


got back to rez pretty late but i got a lift back which was nice.. :) i love being driven around... :p

So the incredibles wasnt as good as everyone puts it.. well, it was good but not THAT good.. i still think movies like finding nemo was better.. hahaa :p

n guess wat? for the sit in protest thing, some of them ended up being locked in the building to continue protesting through the nite! ;)

hmm.. classes today...

'exciting' thing today:
* sit down to stand up to SFU.. my butt and back is now sore from sitting on that cold concrete ground for nearly 2h! basically its silent protest against the mealplan... how we are MADE to pay the $1350 for the food and how only $200 of it rolls over... seriously hey.. i would have SO MUCH money if i didnt just end up buying everything from the c-store..


(btw.. do u know wat sometimes bugs me? bad photographers.. like ppl can take pictures and miss out someone in the pic.. or just take like the mouth up.. anywayz..)

* watching a movie 2nite.. the incredibles... will comment more later..

other than that, the longest day of my week is about to be over!!

i was kinda tired today..
i need to sleep more..
i dun believe exchange is coming to an end..
officially it will end in less than a month..
still have so many things i wanna do..
n i dunno why i keep thinking its decemeber..
coz i write december instead of november now all the time..
its kinda strange..

Went to church in Surrey again today.. it was as usual really good.. This church reminds me of my youthful joy and passion...

transiting wasnt as scary too coz on the way back when it was dark the train and bus was pefrect timing man! :p And i didnt get lost on the train and different train lines again which was good! :)

Hmm... i've almost finished my essay too, doing my laundry now and going to watch Felicity later... wat more do i want?!

its only 2 more weeks of classes and then finals week!!! orh man.. the semester has gone so quickly!

okz.... pretty much a nothingday until the nite.. got up at 12 (actually i got up at 10 then kinda went back to sleep).. hmm... was writing my essay.. and i realised its a 6, not 10 page essay!!!! that totally made my day! :P

at nite, we went iceskating.. hahaa.... im so ungraceful.. i wish i was like once of those nice and graceful figure skaters hey.. but too bad im not.. :( it was fun tho.... i almost made Debbie fall... coz she was pulling me along and stuff and i kinda almost lost my balance, etc.. hahaa...




anywayz, after that we went to bbt... it was alrite i guess.. i didnt relaly get some of the conversations but then again, do i really want to know wat they were talking about? hmmm.. bubbletea itself was good tho.. i was gettting a little tired...



now im back home.... was talking to erin on msn.. erin teo!!! omg..i dun believe it.. like ive known her since she was a baby and im like her "jiajia"... first it was hard for me to believe that an 8 year old was using msn.. second, she told me she was going to go to singapore with her older bro without her parents... like wat on earth rite! as tho ryan can take care of her! no offence ryan! :p third, she started telling me other things like her bfs! seriously hey.. she told me ALOT and it was just mind blowing for me.... how fast do kids grow up these days?!

ok.. didnt blog yesterday.. i guess nothing happened much that's why... had a start on my 10 page essay... i dun get how u can write 10 pages... and i dunno how im going to write a whole booklet thing if i wanna do honours...

anywayz... today i was meant to get up at 9.30ish to do my work but i dunno... my alarm rang and i received a wake-up sms but then i still didnt get up.. got up at 11.30 instead! good plan huh... and before zac starts calling me a piggy, im not.. i guess im just a sleeping beauty.. *grinz*

anywayz, was going to meet debbie for lunch at 12.30... went to the bathroom to wash my face and when i got back to my room, i found out that it was locked.. that was when i realised i had locked myself out of my room! good thing i was dressed and not in some dodgy looking pjs... that would be embaraassing... anywayz, so i knocked on Kate, my CA's door and i think i kinda woke her up! *oops* talk about sleeping in eh?! but yeh. she told me to go to Shell house to get the key.. but then Shell house happen to be moving today.. so i went to eat lunch first anywayz.. went back to tell her the situation then she suggested i page the CA on call... i did that and apparently its not meant to page and i was lucky that it happen to be on and some rezlife office person called back.. nevertheless, i got my door open and she wanted me to show a photo something of me in my room just to prove it was my room.. but wat on earth rite.. who would go to the trouble of paging the CA on call just to open some random's room to steal something... hmmm.. but anywayz... moral of the story is dun lock urself out.. its very troublesome to try and get back in!

Was trying to do my essay throughout the afternoon and after dinner before heading off to the One World Pub Nite at the SFU Pub.. i've done liek 3/10 pages.. :S But pub nite was so entertaining acutally.. lolx :D we had our drinks... Debbie had her ice lemon tea cocktail and i had some electric watermelon martini (unforunately my picture didnt turn up).. they also has some performances... after we got our drinks we went over to have a look.. there was belly dancing and also some indian dance and some guy doing all these cool techno type music with her voice... it was rather interesting...



We also saw Grace (CA on 7th) dancing and i was trying to take pictures of her... she is the one in white and black pants btw! kinda felt like a spy! hahaha :p i also saw my "invisible neighbour" there.. kinda strange.. didnt expect to see her there with her bf (i think its her bf since they're always together) on the dance floor.. but anywayz...


hahaha.. but u know wat... Debbie and i came up with a conclusion that the asian guyz there cant dance.. it was SO FUNNY watching them dance.. lolx :D i know im probably not much better either but still it was so funny looking at them.. like there was this guy who just went in front of these 2 girls dancing and kinda went "boo" except without the noise.. and this other guy who grabbed and starting doing the turn arounds with this other girll... and they kinda got stuck! lolx... and then the way they danced was like big steps side by side and waving their hands in the air (they could hit someone's eyes man).. u just have to be there to see how funny it was.. i mean, nevertheless they had fun rite!? :P everyone on teh dance floor had fun i guess.. ;)


Well, that's the first pub nite for me since im acutally of legal age now in Canada.. hahaha :D
