~**pRiNcEsS diAriEs**~

Had a nice sleepin to around almost 10 I think.. ;) hehee.. anyway, it was just shu and me at home after we had taken our showers so I was playing the piano and on the net for awhile… received a call from A. Esther that they needed help in the office..

So.. I typed up 80 names with addresses to print on the envelops, folded around the same amount of paper to put the letter into the envelop, put the stamp and sealed those envelops and actually I stamped 500 envelops with the name of the organization of it.. hahaz :p kinda reminded me of my childhood when I was young I used to play I was the stamper at the customs.. hahaha :p now I kinda realize how boring their job must be to stamp passports all day.. I used to think it was pretty fun as a kid.. hahaha.. anywayz…

In the evening, I watched part of “The firm”.. from where I picked up it was such an interesting movie.. didn’t want to eat dinner because we were in the middle of the show.. but yeh.. the guy is so smart! Ehhee.. watched more tv, read before going to sleep…

Had to get up early to leave the house by 8am today.. but it was all TOTALLY WORTH IT!! :) shu and I dressed in so many layers because the night before we got psyced out about how cold it was going to be.. I had 3 pants on and 4 layers of clothing and a scarf and gloves and a toque.. lol…. we followed a family that we had met the night before at the Christmas dinner to big white (an Australian owned ski resort.. haha) to learn how to snowboard.. it was totally so much fun!!! Had lessons at around 10.30 till about 12… broke for lunch and met up with the familyand after that Shu and I went off on our own and tried snowboarding by ourselves.. at first on the bunny hill but it got abit boring so we decided to try the green run although at first we were abit intimidated by it… but because this might be the only time we are there we though we had to give it a shot.. and wat could be the worse scenario? We fall a lot? Hahaa.. actually I did but it was nevertheless fun! Hehehe… I think I did better in the beginning and then the more runs (not that I did a lot.. I only did 3)

At one time I was stuck and the bottom half of my legs and snowboard was buried in snow coz I had crashed into a mini tree… took me awhile to get up and get back on my feet…

I think tomorrow im gonna be sore… but it doenst matter coz I still think its totally worth it! :) so blessed by this family for bringing us there and they also paid for it (felt bad and tried paying them but then they said it was a Christmas gift and they had planned on doing it).. so the best I could do was pay for hot chocolate for everyone which was like wat? $13? Compared to $60 though…. Its very little…so blesseed...

3.30pm our passes were over and after returning the rental equipment, we left the place back home… I totally had an awesome time with them..

Came home, took a shower (awww.. im feeling so warm now) and I guess its dinner time now! :p so gtg… im just so so happy now! Hehehehee :D *big grinz*

Had a christmas dinner for 15 people today so we were busy in the kitchen helping to prepare the food and stuff.. haha.. learned how to peel a potato after it has been cooked.. hahaha :D shu went for a walk alone in the arvo for awhile.. was abit worried as to whether she got lost.. lolx :D but yeh… after we had done everything, glen, sarah and me also went for a little walk for around 30min because we had to be back by 4pm to help do stuff again… it was pretty fun the walk…

Anyway, the time came and the guest arrived.. met some really nice people at the dinner… us “kids” were also playing Cranium with Brooklyn and Katelyn.. hehe… interesting how Brooklyn was with YWAM and went to the Fiji islands and stuff…. Anywayz, at nite, I was made to play the piano.. I dunno… like I think I still get kinda nervous playing… esp since im not very good and also since a lot of wat I play by myself is rubbish… but anyway I did it… donna played the piano really well too.. how she can read music so easily and stuff really amazes me! played the game 2 truths and a lie with the adults too. its funny how the adults play it.. lolx :D

Hmm… today shu, sarah and me went for a walk.. we stopped by at the park and took random pictures and also tried making snow angels but then it didn’t quite work that well because the snow was getting hard… oh well.. after that we walked to the mall.. it was such a long walk (to my standards) but the scenery was beautiful though… finally when we got the mall we settled for some coffee (for them) and hot chocolate for me; we ate some cinnamon rolls things too though which was quite yummy… just went shopping again since earlier that morning glen and his mum apparently got some good bargains from American eagle and the gap… well, shu did end up getting a top which sarah bought for her, sarah also got some hair tie stuff, i didn’t end up getting anything… actually, I guess it is in a way a good thing huh? Save my money now for future and futher investment.. lolx :D we were dead tired from the mall so we called back home for them to pick us up.. had a little stopover at Michaels (a craft store) while mel and glen’s parents roamed home depot.. went back home, had dinner… hung around abit and then glen’s frens, Ashley and Lisa came over… we went to play pool together all 7 of us… fun!! Havent played for awhile and I really wished we didn’t sell our house and left the pool table behind too.. :( so kinda happy too.. i won mel in all the games we played.. but I think its because he was abit sick as well.. went to Arby’s drivethru and had some curly fries and played Cranium at nite.. hehe.. my team won! :) hahaha… it was shu and sarah vs ashley and lisa vs glen, mel and me… anywayz… after that glen’s frens left and some of us were still feeling energetic like shu, sarah and me… so we played these icebreaker games amongst ourselves like writing 3 things characteristic of you and then someone reads it and we have to guess and also 2 truths and a lie.. haha.. its kinda funny.. like the first game, we all got each other’s answers right.. the second game, we got it all wrong.. anywayz, its like 12.30am now but I feel like watching a movie.. some of them are playing video games…

Meant to go to church this morning but then didn’t end up going again because there was a snowstorm overnight and the people didn’t plow the streets and because mel’s house is on top of a hill, we couldn’t really get down.. wat a pity though… would have loved to go to church… its is such a blessing whenever I go and also bless the Lord…

Anywayz, so at 11.30ish, sarah and I got dropped at the mall for boxing day shopping.. I wasn’t that impressed.. it wasn’t THAT crowded and also the bargains weren’t THAT good.. oh wellz.. I still managed to get this pink top that I really liked and thought was quite nice.. :) got also this long sleeve blue top with abit of sequenced flowers at the corners.. Coz it was one of those things where u have to get 2 items.. stayed till about 2pm and got picked up and went to have lunch at Costco… and I found out printing pictures there is SO MUCH cheaper.. man.. I should have printed my pictures there.. 22c there only! Its like 59c at London Drugs and also now 69c or something like that at Walmart coz they dun have the other machines.. oh well… maybe I might print some pics there if the family is going back there… also went to some other place like selling home stuff… some of the stuff was really quite cool but then Sarah and I were so tired too…

Headed home, watched part of the a Chinese movie that shu and mel were watching, had dinner and played Cranium at nite. and this time, it was sarah and me versus mel and shu.. and we lost :( :( :( im so bad with all this stuff like charades, pictionary, trivia… *sigh*

We woke up to a miracle: snow!! :) actually sarah and me were still sleeping but mel came knocking on our doors saying that there was snow.. we were so happy… the thing is that it was forecast to snow only on boxing day but surprising there was snow overnight.. a nice Christmas present and I did get to experience my white Christmas afterall.. doesn’t really feel like Christmas though for some reason.. but oh well.. had abit of breaky and then took a shower.. after that we went to this really beautiful place called waterfront… so nice.. okanagan lake and the mountains… kinda had abit of a snow fight.. I dunno why mel kept attacking me!! And it so wasn’t very fair coz I couldn’t really get him that much because 1. he is sick and 2. my aiming is not that good.. hahaz :p but nevertheless, I thought it was pretty fun!!

At night, just had dinner and watched “while you were sleeping”…
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

It was more of a relaxing day.. didn’t do anything much also because mel was sick and we wanted im to recover… anyway, at nite, mel had his relatives over for dinner.. pretty cool how they are close and all since they are also all around the same age.. dinner was good.. had the western stuff like turkey and stuffing and salad but we also had the oriental stuff like rice and roast duck.. hahaa :p really missed my family though.. and friends…

Anyway, at night we were watching this movie called “house of flying daggers”.. it’s a Chinese movie about this blind girl (who later turns out isn’t blind) from the house of flying daggers that ends up falling in love with this guy from the government (like both of them were pretending with each other and all and both of them are like from rival camps)… Anywayz, as usual, I do get kinda worked up during the movie and stuff but there was this really good twist at the end.. like I would have never have guessed the twist… fighting was rather unrealistic though but afterall, it’s a chinese movie rite? :p at the end of the movie it was already 12+.. didn’t feel like it at all! Read abit and then went to bed (but couldn’t really sleep I think its because I took an arvo nap).. oh wellz….

Kinda slept in till 12… but when we woke up it was so nice.. wat a pretty view of the city in the day! Mountain, lake and city views.. so so pretty!!! had stew and bread for lunch and went for a little walk in the private area kinda place.. it was so beautiful.. like there was just this dawn of light shining upon this portion of the river and it looked SO beautiful… anyway, after that we just went to the mall to accomplish our mission of finding sarah a jacket.. and we did end up finding one.. it was actually the same one her mum had bought but in a different colour.. it looked nice… met up with shulin and Hannah at too.. the happen to be there shopping for more Christmas presents.. so yeh… went back to the home and played Cranium. Its like kinda cool… it’s a combination of charades, pictionary, trivial pursuit.. kinda lost 2 times… :( oh well… dinner was yummy coz it was actually homemade! :p watched sound of music on tv at night… they kinda cut out some scenes though because of the time constraint I think.. oh well.. after that we were just watching tv.. might watch while you were sleeping later.. that was the plan anywayz… but u know.. sometimes plans dun always go to plan.. hahaz :p

Slept over in will’s townhouse.. he also cooked me lunch.. haha :p but anyway, I was kinda excited all afternoon to go to kelowna.. so I was like waiting and waiting till 4pm so that icould go and take the bus to go to pacific central to meet mel and his bro, glen and their cousin sarah to catch the greyhound.. hehe.. we finally did catch it.. and my ticket said coquitlam on it and so apparently I was meant to catch the bus from there but when I bought the ticket I purposely checked up on this and the lady told me it was the same.. anyway, the guy was kinda nice and he just let me on anywayz… we stopped at coquitlam, then abbortsford then chilowack, then hope.. and at a mcdonalds (in hope) before going straight to kelowna.. the bus was running about 1h behind so we arrived in kelowna at around 1am (left at 6pm)… so tired… met mel’s parents who were nice.. their new house is also really nice… right on top of the hill so you can overlook the city of kelowna with the lights and all.. so pretty!!! :) yeh.. sarah and I get to share a double bed in glen’s room.. hehee.. looking forward to wat I can do here.. like snowboarding and boxing day shopping and just hanging out and having fun! Hehee..

so much for setting my alarm at 10am.. i still got up at 12pm! :p
but yeh....

today went to get my greyhound ticket to go to kelowna tomorrow... getting there was not so much of a prob... getting back was a prob! coz i was waiting and wating and then the first 3 buses passed and it was full! so couldnt get on and had to keep watiing... all in all, i spent 45min waiting for a bus! it can get rather frustrating and there were these other ladies complaining about it! :p

had to take back to lougheed.. so since i was there i did abit of christmas shopping at for mel's family since that's where i will be staying at kelowna over the christmas period rite..

anywayz, after that i was meant to be meet rom at coquitlam centre bestbuy (thats where he works).. i dunno.. was on the bus and was afraid i was geting lost again coz it started going to these dark areas.... but i did make it there in the end! :) braden also came along and so we had dinner at westwood cafe.. i thought the food wasnt too bad; i had malaysian laksa! :)

got up at 12pm today (only because Braden came over and asked if i wanted to go for lunch)

got back and had a shower before going to lougheed for the only God knows how many times to print my pictures again..

got back around 4.45ish and left again at 5.10ish to get the bus back to lougheed to pick up my photos and also get picked up to go for the MSSC dinner and election night... oh.. memories, memories, memories... I kinda nominated Braden alot of times for alot of positions.. and he had to go to the washroom whenever he got voted coz ppl had to vote and the nominated person couldnt be there.. hahahaa :D (it was 4 times) i think at first he kinda thought the whole voting thing was a joke but in the end he did end up getting Secretary.. hahaha.. and yeh.. he did accept it... Debbie got voted to be events co-ordinators too! hahaa :p that would be a nice surprise for her when she gets back.. ;)

food was really good tho! so nice all the curry and spicy stuff... and it was free too!! we also had our present exchanges as well.. n im happy with my cool socks! :p

today was the church's Christmas Service.. pretty cool stuff... there was a number of programs:
1. presentation by childrens' ministry (so so cute!!! and they did such a good job!)


2. presentation by the adults (so cool to see these adults moving about and doing these performaces! esp the whole dancing between the poles thing! haha)


3. presentation by high school ministry (really cool how the chorographed the whole thing!)


4. presentation by young adults (so did not quite understnad but they incorporated videoclips, skits, fasion show, etc)

5. presentation by english congregation (that was us! melissa did a testimony)


6. sharing by ps john about the purpose of Christmas

anywayz, after that went to Joyce house and was playing her piano/keyboard.. so much fun!!! :) later, went to metrotown to meet Tracy.. ;) was going to do abit of Christmas shopping but then we ate and then the shops closed.. so we decided to go to Coquitlam mall since Joyce thought it might be open but it wasnt! Went walking in Henderson instead and took a picture on Santa's chair, except the security guards came in and told us this:
"2 things..
1. you have to get down from there
2. no cameras are permitted in this mall"
hahaha... we did kinda climb up the stage.. hahaz :p it was fun.. so just driving around the estate later.. such a nice view!! and such nice houses and some were fully decorated coz of Christmas!


anywayz, after that went to blockbuster to rent a movie to watch at Joyce's place after sending Tracy back.. we saw "The Perfect Score".. it was kinda predictable and a very average movie..

oh wellz.. back in Rez now...... :p

got up at 1pm today.. not much of an early person (i think most ppl would know that).. but what i did today was pretyt much pack and move out of my room to debbie's room.. its like 2 floors above me but seriously been up and down for the whole day today just to move mys tuff.. i dunno how i am going to bring everything back to australia.. i still have more stuff that i left in singapore to bring back to perth... bummer... who is in singapore and willing to take my stuff back? jap? mainy? ryan? jess? sam? bala? martin? alvin? herbert? anyone?

but yeh. anywayz.. at nite we watched "dodgeball".. kinda funny.. i like happy cheesy endings.. lolx :D

so this morning i was meant to get ready before 830.. however.. when debbie came to my room at 830 i was still sleeping *blush*.. but i got ready really qucik! like record time man! ahhaz :D the plan was to go to the bookshop to sell back our books.. however, when we got there it was like closed! only opened at 930.. so we went to ravens to breakfast instead.. except, i forgot to rbing my card and had to pay cash.. so the day wasnt exactly off to a good start...
well.. i did manage to sell back my finance book.. i was kinda sad tho.. i like my books.... oh well.. at least i got $66 for it! ;) hahaz..

after that we caught the bus to go to harbour centre.. to go to the top to the viewing deck.. it was really pretty hey.. ;) like u get to see vancouver from the topview and its def much cheaper than a helicopter ride.. :p

anywayz, after that we went to robson to shop coz yesterday we saw that at bluenote, it was 50% the price since they were closing down.. pretty cool huh? i got a poncho and a top.. debbie spent much more tho! 2 pairs of jeans and 2 tops! :p but yeh.. anywayz, after that we went back to SFU, had a slightly late lunch.. debbie went off to go home back to manitoba... hope to see her again before i leave tho..

after that, was kinda packing which is impossible since i have so much stuff... so i dunno how i am going to bring all of it back hey.. oh well.... got one luggage packed! ;) that was of course, i took a nap inbetween and had dinner..

now im blogging from will's room... everyone just kinda went off to see this "crane" on th eother side of uni... i wonder if they wiull ever come back... hmmm..

I've gone to lougheed so many times this week.. i think the guy at the photolab kinda recognises me now.. lolx :D

but yeh..

nothing much.. slept in till 12.30 today.. i dun think i would have gotten up if debbie didnt phone me... but before you think that im lazy, i slept at 4.30.. was just doing stuff and didnt occur to me to sleep i guess.. hahaha :D until i realised the time!

but yeh...

had a really good dinner (not the food) but just hanging around and talking.. i love that; reminds me of my dinner family convos i have back in australia.. just scrapbooking again... going out to perhaps a club later.... its freezing cold.. im not really dressing up.. ahahz :D dun i just look good already that i dun needa dress up? *ego trip* ;)

so i got up at a little bit past 12 today..
Deb and me wanted to go to whitespots for lunch.. but guess wat? it was closed...
so we went to McKenzies Cafe... saw Marieka there so had lunch together whcih was good... she just finished her exam and had to go to another exam...
Deb tried to get a free travel mug from Renaissance today using a scanned coupon.. didnt quite work.. oh well.. at least now she has got a real coupon off another person and she is going to collect her mug sometime soon.. ;)
i went to lougheed... wanted to get more photos printed off.. but guess wat.. after spending a long time at the DIY machine, i sent it in, waited in lougheed an hour.. then the photo technicans said there was something wrong with the process.. when they got sent the files, they were corrupt.. :( so i had to do it all over again... so instead of waiting another hour, i said i will maybe collect it tomorrow.. which means i have to go back there again tom..... *sigh*
made it back just in time for dinner... then was doing some of my scrapbooking, went to Deb's to quiz her on her terms, did more scrapbooking and then to watch a movie..
just saw analyse this.. quite an good movie i thought.. kinda funny (and i acutally did get the humour in it!) lolx :D

like all these puzzles.. all these displays and cool things to play with! hahaaZ :D
its really quite interesting.. makes u wanna do science! haha :p
we also watched a documentary on the human body in the omnitheatre.. pretty cool stuff! was talking about babies and stuff like that... so cool. and babies are cute! hahaha :D
did you know that babies would have crawled on average at least 60miles before they walk and that the brain is the most fatty organ coz the fat serves as an insulator?
